John Vincent Coulter, an F.B.I. agent and his wife Nell husbands Martin. She has Irish and German roots. Following her law degree and law school, she worked as a legal associate to the United States Court of Appeals in Kansas. Her government career was short-lived and she moved to New York City. As part of her new job, she was a specialist on corporate law. In 1998 she appeared on T.V. She was a household word for her many shows on T.V. to discuss the scandal surrounding Bill Clinton and his impeachment. Her first book The High Crimes Misdemeanors the The Case Against Bill Clinton was published in 1998. The book was later accused of copying it.
